Cray Cray Day

Impossible to sleep with the heat last night so I'm a tired little teddy bear. It's hot again today and very humid. We went into the port of  Saint. John and wandered around the boardwalk and interacted with the quirky artworks.
Once again I didn't buy anything as I simply cannot be bothered making a decision. I'm sorry to disappoint everyone who was expecting a diamond bracelet, new car or even a mobile lighthouse.
Tonight we meet with Jane and Howard's friends after dinner. I'm struggling to stay awake and it's only 6pm.

Tomorrow night is dinner and a concert; the next night is an art show and meeting friends of H and J. All of this social intercourse is going to do me in. On Saturday we are off to Fredericton to see Signa in Joseph's Technicolour Dreamcoat. I think I have one on now and I am struggling to stay awake.
I saw a squirrel frolicking in the trees and another one in Kings Park in Saint John. The nearest I have come to a moose is a statue of one in the city.
Jane got me into all kinds of venues like the Harbour Station hockey stadium and the Imperial Theatre by playing the, " my friend is from NZ and she hasn't seen.... Can we please look inside? I tried that with a diamond trader but he didn't buy it if you'll forgive the pun.
And so another day passes. Hot hot hot.
Calgary where we were just over a week ago has got snow on the Rockies and is at 6  degrees. When we were there it was so hot. Their summer goes quickly and the winters are hard. I think I like the look of NZ weather more and more.
I'm homesick and missing friends and family, especially at night. Not the friends at night of course. That's one bridge too far. Another 2 weeks and I'll be in Perth with Graham, Anita and Lilly-Jay.
Another deer has wandered onto the back lawn and is eating whoever is left of any garden. They are a real hazard on the roads at night.
Howard and Jane are cooking and I am doing nothing. The story of my life.
